A Snapshot of Your Day We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect (f/m/d) to join our team and lead the development and operation of our Engineering Suite Platform. This platform serves as a common foundation, composed of code and services, designed to facilitate the development and operation of engineering tools that support the Transformer Design Process. How You'll Make an Impact Design, develop, and maintain the Engineering Suite Platform to ensure robustness, scalability, and performance while supporting the complete Transformer Design Process from concept to deployment Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate various tools and services, aligning the platform's capabilities with business goals through effective communication with product managers and stakeholders Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, implementing best practices for code quality, testing, and security, while conducting regular code reviews and audits Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the platform innovative and competitive, while identifying and mitigating potential security risks Prepare and present technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and documentation to stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and operation of the platform What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar technical leadership role Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, or Java Hands-on experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server and desktop UI frameworks such as Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) or Windows Forms Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices Extensive experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) Solid knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team setting Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, leveraging technical expertise and interpersonal skills About the Team Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
