* Evaluation of engineering services/specifications and quotations in accordance with current standards and regulations
* Providing technical support/clarification to internal and external stakeholders throughout all project phases
* Coordinating and managing external service providers as well as cross-functional collaboration and coordination with other technical departments and other stakeholders
* Reviewing layouts/drawings and providing relevant comments
* Reviewing reports, schedules and cost estimates and providing relevant comments
* Regular supplier visits with status meetings, technical audits and construction site discussions
* Coordination of interfaces with regard to equipment and process technology/coordination and consultation at the relevant interfaces
* Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and technical specifications
Required qualifications:
* University degree in engineering, preferably shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or civil engineering, or a comparable qualification
* Willingness to travel frequently
* Several years of experience in maritime technology
* Knowledge of common design and calculation methods
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Strong social and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and in demanding environments
* Very good written and spoken German and English

* Experience with international projects and intercultural cooperation
* Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations for offshore installations or shipbuilding facilities
