Your role
As a Senior HR Solutions Expert in the Pensions and Insurance team you will:
1. draft policy papers for the relevant decision-making bodies on the ECB’s pension arrangements and on actuarial and investment issues;
2. liaise with internal and external parties on matters relating to the governance, investment and actuarial methodologies applying to the ECB’s pension arrangements;
3. communicate information to the members of the ECB’s pension scheme about benefits, actuarial aspects and investment policy, as well as other pension-related matters;
4. contribute to the development of the ECB’s pension fund administration;
5. conduct analytical studies on pensions;
6. contribute to work on complex and politically sensitive matters.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
7. a master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, actuarial science, accounting, human resources, finance, law or another relevant field (see for details on degree equivalences);
8. in addition to the above, seven or more years’ experience in the field of occupational pension arrangements from an administrative, investment or IT perspective;
9. excellent drafting, presentation and moderation skills;
10. an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the

11. professional experience in developing and implementing internal policies;
12. knowledge of accounting and financial reporting;
13. experience in procurement and contract management.
