In this role, youu2019ll help ensure smooth patient flow, manage referrals, and directly support access to specialty healthcare for service members and their families. What Youu2019ll Do Referral Management & Nursing Support Process, schedule, and track patient referrals within the MTF and network providers. Verify patient enrollment in MHS GENESIS/DEERS and update demographics as needed. Provide health benefits advice and pre-appointment instructions to patients. Follow-up on pending results and ensure documentation is complete in medical records. Patient Care & Collaboration Provide professional, compassionate nursing support to patients and families. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Participate in meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
