We are looking for the brightest IT minds that want to join us in our journey towards fossil freedom, in this case a (Senior) .Net Developer in our Power & Gas Solutions Team. You will guide the development of the current Tech Stack, future applications and overall automation and processes.
The team you can join works closely with business – our Power & Gas traders – and takes the leading role in supplying custom developed solutions.
What will you do?
You and your team colleagues are developing software solutions using latest technologies and methodologies to nurture business development while staying compliant with our software architectural and security guidelines. Your largest business stakeholder is the Trading floor.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
* Developing, maintaining and operating applications within the Gas Logistics Team together with the Development Team, Product Owner, Business Analysts, and neighboring IT teams.
* Developing of new functionalities in our IT Landscape applications for Vattenfall
* Taking responsibility for full application life cycle: building, testing, running and monitoring the IT service landscape to enable gas trading processes and interaction with the respective markets in Europe (and other continents).
* Completing, full-stack application development, exploring latest technologies and being always up to date in the field of application development within an agile framework.
* Creating standardized interfaces, connection to other applications and the visualization towards the customer.
* Connecting with our business stakeholder, understand their requirements and processes for specific use cases

As our (Senior) .Net Developer you will bring:
* Relevant experience as Software Developer, Software Engineer or a similar role.
* Several years experience with
o .NET 8, .NET Framework, C#, EF Core Typescript, Azure
* Good experience with:
o Angular, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Git, GitFlow,GitHub Copilot
o SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB (NoSQL + PostgreSQL)
o REST APIs, Swagger, Postman
o Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Helm, Docker, Kubernetes
o Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Kafka, Event-driven architecture, Azure Entra ID (App Registrations, Enterprise Applications), App Configuration, Key Vault, Blob Storage, App Services, Azure DevOps pipelines
o xUnit or NUnit, mocking frameworks like Moq
* Clean Code mindset with understanding of SOLID principles and architectural patterns
* Motivation to constantly work on improving our technical development standards and architectural standards
* Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks
* High agile mindset and experience in agile teams. Open knowledge sharing approach
* Knowledge of the energy sector, especially gas trading is a plus.
* Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
