Job Overview
The IT Specialist I is responsible for providing exceptional end user support to the highest level and standards to the business.
Job Description
The position holder will need to prioritize:
1. User requirements
2. Basic break/fix and root cause analysis
3. Life-cycle replacement of devices
4. Performs voice over internet protocol, and network software configuration, desktop engineering including, Windows OS, Mac OS, etc
5. Monitoring and basic troubleshooting of:
6. Network/server/VM infrastructure consisting of Microsoft Windows Server 2012-2019
7. Active Directory – Users, security groups, adding machines to domain.
8. Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint
9. Cloud-integrated applications for example Hubstor, Rubrik or similar technologies
10. Work with vendors and help to explore new products and ideas
11. Creation of documentation and reports
12. Collaborate with the IT Site Service Team and Global Tech
13. Perform any other reasonable requested duties not necessarily within the scope of this position
14. Makes recommendations for the continuous improvement of IT processes and systems for the betterment of the user experience / elimination of core issues
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
15. Regularly works in a stationary position; occasionally travel to other sites required
16. Regularly communicates with other employees/customers and must be able to exchange accurate information verbally and in written form.
17. Regularly operates a computer.
18. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the laboratory according to company standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
19. Education: Bachelor or vocational training in IT
20. Experience: 1-3 years related experience
21. Language Requirements: English (Fluent) and German (Fluent).
