Betterlore (betterlore.com) is an iGaming brand that brings new online games to the market. In recent years, we have developed the first of these games together with the supporting infrastructure. The company has German roots with locations in Malta and Serbia. The games are located both in Germany and in the cloud. For the further development of our brand Betterlore we are looking for an IT Specialist as System Administrator (m/f/d) to expand and support the technical team. As a System Administrator (m/f/d) you will install, configure and set up clusters of VMs, containers and services, mostly based on Linux. You will provide appropriate monitoring and ensure that failover scenarios are properly set up and regularly tested to ensure a high level of system availability. In addition, you will provide first level support and maintain the streaming architecture including platform services and hardware. You will also be responsible for system maintenance, including patch management, to ensure a high level of security for the systems and networks used by the company. Managing the network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers and switches will also be part of your responsibilities. Last but not least, you will work with the DevOps team on the implementation of automation tools such as Ansible to manage and support infrastructure in use.
