About this role:
As a Demand Planner (m/f/d), you play a central role in creating and optimizing forecasts and demand plans that align with company objectives. With your sound statistical knowledge and experience in workforce management, you analyze data, identify trends, and contribute to strategic capacity planning. Working closely with internal teams, you ensure efficient processes and support the strategic guidelines of management.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
* End-to-end ownership of the Demand Forecasting and Shift Planning process for the selected regions in Germany taking into account all sales channels
* Collaboration in implementation of new forecasting & planning strategies intended to improve accuracy and aligned with management long-term vision and goals
* Analysis and coordination of new projects planned with regards to forecasting and planning feasibility as well as tracking the performance afterwards
* Proactively suggest and conduct relevant deep-dive analysis, including undertaking geographic analysis to enable deeper operational insights and suggest ways to eliminate/reduce re-occurrences
* Work closely with stakeholders in cross-functional initiatives and support optimisation of key business processes to continuously improve the delivery experience and steer operations effectively
* Understand delivery operations metrics in depth and ensure consistent use across the business, being able to communicate them to other teams
What will you bring to the table?
* Education: Completed degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* Experience: Proven experience in Demand & Shift Planning as well as extensive knowledge of supply chain processes. Proven experience in E-commerce preferred.
* Technical Skills: Strong analytics and detail oriented with advanced knowledge of Excel, G-Suite and data analysis.
* Communication: Excellent English skills, as well as the ability to communicate and present complex issues clearly; German skills are a big plus
* Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, organisational skills & teamwork skills, as well as resilience in a dynamic environment
