Quantum Computing Trainer and Consultant Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Quantum Computing Expert to join our interdisciplinary team of HPC specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantum computing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design and deliver training programs for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Job Summary:
* Design and develop quantum computing courses and hands-on training sessions tailored for SMEs.
* Provide consulting services for quantum computing hardware platform selection, algorithm design, and hybrid architecture development.
* Raise awareness of the potential of quantum computing among SMEs through targeted public outreach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on quantum computing, focusing on practical applications and industry-specific use cases.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement use cases of quantum computers together with customers, ensuring effective integration into existing workflows.
3. Analyze and optimize performance of quantum algorithms and hardware, contributing to the development and maintenance of hybrid classical-quantum workflows.
4. Contribute to the planning, organization, and execution of events, workshops, and networking activities to promote quantum computing adoption among SMEs.
Requirements:
* A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Computational Science, or a related field is required.
* Proficiency in programming languages relevant to quantum computing, such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#.
* Familiarity with NISQ architectures and good knowledge of quantum computing principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and German.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
