The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Luxembourg invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position to investigate the complex relationships between cancer and microbiomes.
The successful candidate will lead research projects to identify virulence factors and their effects on various assays, as well as develop new methods and assays for analyzing microbiome-cancer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute experiments to study the impact of virulence factors on cell cultures and animal models
• Conduct in-depth analyses of data collected from these experiments and present results at international conferences
• Collaborate with the research team to develop novel methodologies for studying microbiome-cancer interactions
• Ensure high-quality scientific output, including publications in top-tier journals
Requirements:
PhD in Biological Sciences or a related field; prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher is preferred; strong background in cell culture techniques, molecular biology, and statistical analysis; excellent communication and organizational skills; proficiency in written and spoken English.
