Your area of work:
Group Tax is responsible for all tax related matters within Deutsche Börse Group, supported by the local tax compliance teams. As a member of our Indirect Tax team, you will contribute to the VAT compliance of our German established companies. If you are interested to work in a challenging environment, to contribute your IT and VAT know how and to further develop your skills within this area, we would appreciate to receive your application.
Your responsibilities:
1. Preparation of preliminary, annual VAT returns and EC sales lists for our German subsidiaries
2. Support of monthly and annual closing processes
3. Preparation of tax audit requests
4. Taking on the role of a business partner for VAT related questions
5. Support of the further improvement of tax relevant processes
Your profile:
6. Vocational training as a tax clerk, tax expert or similar or university degree in economics or law, further qualifications (e.g. MBA or LL.M.) appreciated
7. Strong analytical skills, business attitude and very good communication skills, highly motivated team player
8. Profound professional experience within VAT compliance
9. In-depth know how of banking industry
10. Detailed know how of IDP, especially ERP systems, VAT compliance and MS Office applications
11. Very good proficiency in written and spoken German, English considered as advantage
