We at Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn are looking for a Project Management Officer (d/f/m) for the area “Connected Intelligence” in the Programme Unit “Space Digital / Secure Connectivity DACH”.
Experienced in project management? You will be part of a high value programme for the German customer requiring a strong, skilled and highly motivated multifunctional team.
Accordingly, the Project Management Officer (d/f/m) shall deliver methods, processes and tools in support to the Bid/Project team and act as co-pilot.

Maintain the Project Management Plan and ensure adherence to this plan
Manage the Project Management digital ecosystem to operate the project
Prepare and facilitate meetings and support preparation of milestones
Maintain the project’s action register and drive the timely closure of actions
Maintain the project’s integrated plan in the appropriate toolset, embedding inputs from all contributing stakeholders
Prepare and track purchase orders for all project required materials
Coordinate and synchronize the work-packages’ activities (technical, configuration management, safety, security, product assurance, architecture, IVQ,...)
Prepare and contribute to project export control related activities
Proactively seek out and implement improvements in your way of working, and in the overall execution of the project
You have successfully completed studies in Engineering or Business Administration with 2 to 3 years of experience in leading projects or as a PMO
You are able to understand technical complexities and risks of our projects
You can anticipate needs and issues in support of the Project Manager and act as co-pilot
You feel comfortable working across functions, in international teams and environments, and influencing and persuading stakeholders amid conflicting priorities
You have a very good command of German and English (written and spoken)
