Your Tasks
1. Support for the development and maintenance of data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
2. Writing, optimization, and maintenance of SQL queries in BigQuery
3. Assistance in building and managing datasets within Google BigQuery
4. Execution of data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation processes
5. Preparation and structuring of datasets for AI/ML use cases
6. Collaboration with Data Engineers and Data Scientists in: Feature preparation, Data modeling and transformation
7. Contribution to documentation and the establishment of data standards
8. Support for ongoing data platform and migration initiatives
Your Profile
9. Enrolled in a Master’s program (., Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems)
10. Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, window functions)
11. Good knowledge of Python (data handling with pandas)
12. Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery Querying large datasets Basic understanding of partitioning and performance optimization
13. Understanding of data structures and data modeling basics
14. Exposure to GCP (Google Cloud Platform) ecosystem
15. Basic understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines
16. Familiarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar
17. Initial experience with AI/ML workflows Data preparation, feature engineering
18. Awareness of analytics or event-based data (., tracking, CDP)
19. Strong analytical and structured thinking
20. Curiosity and willingness to learn
21. Ability to work independently with guidance
22. Fluent in English (German is a plus)
