PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – German - speaking
Location: Berlin (on site), Germany
This is a full-time role with a unique opportunity to shape local procurement structures for Photovoltaic Park (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Germany.
What you will do:
* Lead communication with suppliers, construction teams, subcontractors, and other contractors
* Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contractual conditions with vendors
* Prepare supplier comparisons and commercial evaluation reports
* Ensure timely availability of materials and services per project schedule and cash flow constraints
* Coordinate technical requirements and delivery scopes with internal teams
* Develop and maintain a procurement database tailored for the German market
* Conduct supplier and market research to identify qualified vendors
* Support tender processes, including document control, pricing requests, and contract finalization
* Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and service
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes
The successful profile:
* Professional level German & English
* Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
* Minimum 2 years in procurement (Construction, EPC, or renewable energy preferred)
* Strong negotiation, analytical and detail-orientated skills
* Excellent skills in Excel
* ERP & Procurement tools experience is a plus
