We are looking for new team members for a new project in our High-Tech Solution Center in Gärtringen. As Commercial/Rates Specialist (m/f/d) you are the central point of contact between the operational Kuehne+Nagel departments and our customers.
How you create impact
1. Commercial escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders for any relevant topics within the Commercial department
2. Support with multimodal rate schemes (Ocean/Rail/Road/Air/Sea-Air) in the context of our Rate Card Management activities
3. Leading freight tenders, including analysis, preparation and processing
4. Creation of presentations for our customers and business partners
5. Internal as well as external rate negotiations
6. Collaboration with customers and different Kuehne+Nagel country organizations in an international environment
7. Collaboration and support on projects
What we would like you to bring
8. Experience in freight forwarding and in logistics services, and a deep understanding of logistics processes
9. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
10. Conversational level of German skills
11. High level of user skills for MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
12. Customer oriented and economical mindset and acting
13. Analytical mindset, structured way of working as well as affinity for numbers
14. Personal resilience, team- and customer-oriented mindset and acting, good and effective self-management
15. Willingness to occasionally travel (1-2x a year)
