We are currently looking for a field sales engineer (m/f/d) within our team in Germany, based in the North-East Region.
Our new field sales engineer will be responsible for managing a focused selection of customers to complement our needs as a company as we grow in the test and measurement industry.
Your role will be primarily aerospace, automotive and other industry-focused, also has the potential for application focused sales depending on knowledge and background.
Your primary area of focus will be in data acquisition, software, sensors and services in targeted at automotive, aerospace and industry applications.
We are looking for a knowledgeable Sales Engineer with background in the Mechanical field, with knowledge in Noise, vibration, strain, force and torque knowledge and software background.
You will join our dedicated sales team supporting the German regional business. You will become part of the Central Europe sales team.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales-oriented activities:
1. Visiting potential/existing customers and generating enquiries through professional sales techniques using a consultative approach to get to customer concepts and demonstrating the unique strengths of working with HBK
2. Using appropriate hardware, information and materials
3. Acquiring new customers and supporting colleagues with specific product and technical knowledge – working as a team is important
4. Preparing quotations using CRM and price lists
5. Preparing more detailed proposals from tender specifications
6. Providing feedback to the company in the form of reports and forecasts
7. Actively contributing during departmental meetings
8. Involvement in promotional and marketing activities in your area
General assistance activities:
9. Monthly Reporting
10. Team meetings via Teams
11. General shared team activities in Germany(DACH)
Professional Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or equivalent degree in an engineering or technically based discipline.
Personal Skills
12. German as a mother language and High level of English is needed.
13. Excellent commercial understanding
14. Excellent phone communication
15. Excellent IT knowledge (Microsoft® Office®, CRM, etc.)
16. Good team-player approach
