About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Mahlow, Germany. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.
Compensation
€22-30/hr (EUR hourly)
Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
* Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
* Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
* Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
* Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
* Document all work with photos and detailed notes
* Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
* Data center or IT infrastructure experience
* Server hardware and networking knowledge
* Reliable and professional with strong communication
* Proximity to local data center facilities
* Flexible schedule for on-call/emergency work
