Job Description:
As a DATA ARCHITECT for our team, I am a key player in delivering real impact in digitizing the travel experience of Lufthansa Group's customers. I take care of big data and business intelligence for our teams and steer them towards optimal solutions to develop the next era of digital travelling.
* I design the Data Architecture for the digital products created by the Digital Hangar.
* I am responsible for the identification and assessment of internal and external data sources and the integration of data.
* I explore and analyze data and communicate relevant insights to stakeholders.
* I collaborate with colleagues to analyze business needs and translate them into data requirements.
* I collaborate with Data/ML Engineers regarding the development, maintenance, and optimization of Data/ML pipelines.
* I evaluate technology trends in the data & analytics domain and provide guidance on opportunities and risks.
* I work with solution architects to create an end-to-end solution design for the digital products.
* I have at least 2 years of experience as a Data Architect.
* Experience working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
* Experience as a developer or architect in data management.
* A proven track record in building data sets and pipelines for analytical use cases.
* Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and relevant data science libraries (Pandas, PySpark, etc.), as well as Data Warehouse design, BI reporting, and Dashboard development.
* Basic understanding of data science/machine learning methods.
* Ambition to master unstructured data and large datasets without being intimidated.
* Willingness to share knowledge and promote cooperation within and across teams.
* Fundamental understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
