Commodity Manager (m/f/x) | Global Scope | Bavaria
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commodity strategies, leading global sourcing initiatives, and driving cost and risk management activities across international supply chains. Our client is a leading player in industrial innovation and technology, offering a dynamic environment and international growth opportunities.
Your Responsibilities as a Commodity Manager (m/f/x):
* Development and implementation of purchasing policies and commodity strategies aligned with corporate objectives
* Execution of global procurement initiatives to identify and qualify suppliers
* Full ownership of the Master Savings Plan, including strategic analysis, planning, and ROI-driven implementation
* Proactive risk management through supplier diversification and contingency planning
* Collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop technology roadmaps
* Leading complex contract negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, quality standards, and legal conditions
* Drafting and managing various agreements including quality agreements, supply contracts, and NDAs
Your Profile:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar field – MBA is a plus
* Several years of experience in global commodity management, with proven success in cost reduction and process optimization
* Strong skills in negotiation, cost modeling, and TCO analysis
* Solid understanding of global markets and digital supply chain tools
* Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration
* Strategic thinker, strong communicator, and results-oriented
* Willingness to travel internationally to supplier locations and production sites (approx. 25%)
