The HVAC Lead Inspector will ensure that shipboard installations meet the specifications and all applicable statutory and class requirements.
A Lead HVAC Inspector on a site team contributes to the successful construction of ships by ensuring the effective and compliant installation of HVAC systems, thereby enhancing the operational efficiency, safety, and comfort of the vessels.
Inspection and Verification : conducts thorough inspections of HVAC systems at various stages of the ship construction process. Code and Regulatory Compliance : Ensures compliance with maritime and HVAC industry regulations. Ensures that HVAC systems adhere to international and regional standards set by organizations like the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and classification societies.
Documentation helps ensure accountability, regulatory compliance, and provides a historical reference for future inspections.
Works with the construction team to address and rectify any issues promptly to ensure the systems are correctly installed and function as intended.
Prior experience in shipbuilding, maritime construction or ships operation
