To expand our international business, we are looking for an experienced professional to build a new strategic vertical within the European defense and security industry. Based in Bad Oeynhausen or any European DENIOS location under a hybrid working model, you will shape our market strategy and develop international customer relationships.
Development and implementation of a Europe-wide market entry and growth strategy for the defense and security sector
Identification, analysis, and development of new business opportunities within the European defense industry and their suppliers
Establishment and maintenance of a sustainable network of decision-makers from industry, government authorities, NATO-related institutions, procurement organizations, OEMs, and system suppliers
Positioning DENIOS as a leading provider of hazardous material storage, safety solutions, and environmental technology in military and defense-related environments
Contribution to the development of product and service offerings tailored to specific requirements of the defense sector
Responsibility for the entire business development and sales process – from lead generation to contract closing
Management and strategic development of selected international key accounts
Close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and international Country Managers
Participation in tenders, trade fairs, and international industry events within the defense sector
Analysis of market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive developments in the field of Defense & Security
Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, Security/Defense Technology, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in an international B2B environment, ideally within the defense, security, industrial, or plant engineering sectors
Experience in international business development, sales, or key account management
Understanding of procurement processes and regulatory requirements within the defense sector (e.g., EU, NATO, or national procurement procedures)
Technical understanding of hazardous material storage, safety solutions, or protection systems is an advantage
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; additional European languages are considered a plus
Willingness to travel extensively within Europe
Strong strategic thinking skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and confident communication across all hierarchical levels
High level of integrity, discretion, and security awareness
Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and international teams
