The Hertie School, the University of Governance in Berlin and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW Kiel) are recruiting a Professor of International Economics (gn) The Hertie School and the IfW Kiel are jointly recruiting a Professor of International Economics. The ideal candidate has an established research record in international macro, trade, and/or industrial policy. This person should combine state-of-the-art empirical, policy-relevant research with an excellent international network, and would probably be an Associate or Full Professor currently at another university. The successful candidate will be appointed as S-Professor at the Hertie School, with a secondment to the new Berlin-branch of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW Kiel). Candidates should enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, international environment with English as the language of instruction and operation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in the School's Master, Executive, and PhD programmes, including at the PhD level in the Berlin School of Economics.
