The Registration Support Assistant (gn) will be working in EUAA's operational environment at BAMF's premises in Augsburg. He/she will be responsible for the following tasks, under the coordination and supervision of the EUAATasksSupport the BAMF local office at the lodging phase of the asylum applicationRegister applicants for international protection and lodge asylum applications in conformity with the applicable legal provisions, internal procedures and working instructionsCreate, process and close asylum case files within the German asylum cases management systemMaintain, manage and update asylum application records based on the internal tools and databases of the BAMFBe responsible for conducting identification procedures, clarifying identity and origin, and verifying documents of applicants during asylum processingLiaise and interact with asylum seekers, authorities, courts and the Federal Police, both in person and in writing, in the context of asylum applications processing, as per internal procedures and working instructionsProvide support with BAMF general office duties such as document scanning and indexing, mail processing, correspondence, appointment scheduling, and general data entrySupport the development and implementation of internal procedures, instructions, and documentsPerform any other duties required in the interest of the serviceQualificationsA post-secondary education attested by a diploma or secondary education attested by a diplomaPrevious experience within an institutional and intercultural environment would be considered an assetAt least 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial environmentWillingness to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (SÜG)Very good German and English language skills (each at least at B2 level)Computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), Internet use, and web-based applicationsVery strong intercultural/interdisciplinary communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritizeWhat to expectAttractive annual salary of €45,000Exciting assignment for 18 monthsStart June 2026Full-time (40 hours)International working environmentCorporate benefits and discounts at numerous brandsHoliday and Christmas bonusThe opportunity to make an important contribution in the area of migration and asylumCurious?
