Job Description:
The career opportunity is with Wipro Fullstride Sales Group. The Cloud Transformation Sales Director is accountable for sales in existing and new accounts across the full spectrum of the Fullstride Cloud Global Business line, which spans from infrastructure services like network, end user computing, data center exit, and service management to application level services such as application modernization, integration, testing, agile, and DevOps.
This role is responsible for driving profitable growth by developing strategic client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent delivery.
Role and Objectives:
* Provide direction and lead the digital vision to transform our clients' businesses.
* Identify market trends and align Wipro solutions/offerings accordingly.
* Create sales opportunities through networking in the market.
* Lead and support sales teams in demand creation activities, including client meetings to present Wipro’s capabilities and delivery approach.
* Collaborate with Partner organizations to bring solutions to clients.
* Create end-to-end business solutions for proposals and RFI/RFP responses.
* Interface with Client Account Teams and clients to present benefits and value propositions.
* Develop strategies based on market and competitor intelligence for deal structuring.
* Lead customer meetings to understand business context and requirements.
* Drive proposal presentations and discussions on solutions.
* Oversee solutions and delivery teams, participating in key project deliverables and client meetings.
Experience Required:
* 20+ years in closing deals in IT Services & Consulting, including global deals with onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery.
* Proven track record of >$20m TCV annual sales on fixed-price transformational deals.
* Experience in end-to-end solutions development for multi-offering transformations.
* Leading multi-day on-site workshops for design and due diligence.
* Handling pre-sales/sales cycles and solutioning roles.
* Experience in collaborative, matrix, or global delivery environments is advantageous.
* Existing relationships with relevant technology partners.
* Industry experience in Manufacturing, Pharma, Lifestyle, Transport, or Logistics is a plus.
Key Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills, including delivering presentations and driving meetings.
* Ability to develop long-term client relationships.
* Adaptability in a rapidly changing, high-pressure environment.
* Strong understanding of technologies such as Cloud Architectures (AWS, Azure, GCS, VMWare), DevOps, Agile, Scrum, Container, API Development, Cloud Migration, FinOps, AIOps, Application Modernization, Quality Engineering, Digital Workplace, SDWAN, IoT, and industry tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, GitHub).
* Fluency in English; German language skills are preferred.
