What you will do
* Research in the direction of Hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) for the development and testing of control strategies for electric energy systems including co-simulation and co-demonstration
* Research in the field of Power-HiL for testing and qualification of power converters
* Contribution to the development of test set-ups and procedures
* Communication of your results both internally and externally and collaboration with scientists in the team
* Contrubution to our scientific profiling by means of publications as well as acquisition of research and industrial projects
What you bring to the table
* Master's or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification in a related field
* Experience with real time simulation and HiL testing with Opal-RT, Typhoon HIL, and/or Plexim
* Experience in the field of DC-grid stability is beneficial
* A high degree of independence, initiative, and commitment, combined with a high level of curiosity and willingness to learn
* Ability to quickly familiarize with new challenges and to take over responsibility in a team environment
* Fluency in spoken and written English

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
