We are seeking a skilled professional to spearhead the implementation of high-impact AI use cases.
* Design and implement scalable AI/ML solutions based on identified business needs
* Establish and maintain an efficient internal AI development environment (local or cloud-based)
* Collaborate closely with business units and domain experts to translate real-world problems into machine learning tasks
* Rapidly prototype solutions using structured and unstructured data
* Ensure high-quality documentation, versioning, and reproducibility of models and pipelines
* Interface with external AI partners or consultants, and manage the technical integration of third-party components
* Drive model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring in production or near-production environments
* Stay up to date with the latest developments in applied AI and help evaluate their potential for our business
Required Skills:
* Must-Have skills:
o Relevant professional hands-on experience in applied machine learning, preferably in an industrial context
o Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn
o Experience with LLMs and NLP frameworks
o Familiarity with MLOps tools
o Experience setting up and maintaining GPU-based local workstations or cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
o Solid understanding of data workflows – from preprocessing to deployment
o Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders
o Very good English language skills are mandatory and German language skills are a plus
* Nice-to-Have skills:
o Experience with visual AI (e.g., image classification, object detection)
o Exposure to manufacturing, or engineering domains
o Familiarity with agile development methodologies
