Your Role and Responsibilities: maintaining the operating system installation of varied Linux servers throughout multiple HPC clusters operation of Ethernet networks bug hunting and fixing, often in collaboration with vendor companies certified, transparent processes Basic Qualifications: university degree (master or above) in computer science, mathematics, or natural sciences with a background in high-performance computing knowledge and experience in the system administration of Linux servers including security considerations and hardening knowledge about compiled programming languages (e.g. C, C++) knowledge about scripted programming languages (e.g. Shell, Python) ability to work in both modes, autonomously as well as in a team excellent German and English in writing and speaking You like to share experiences and put procedures to the test in order to improve them with the team.
