You will help generate future demand in industries shaping tomorrow, including marine, energy, hydrogen, and process industries, where high-performance materials designed for extreme conditions play a critical role in resilience, performance, and building up sustainable society.
What You'll Do
* Own and drive go-to-market marketing strategies and programs for assigned industry segments and products, with a focus on global markets for advanced materials and specialty products
* Translate business objectives into clear, data-driven marketing plans that build awareness, generate demand, and support pipeline and revenue growth
* Develop customer and market insight, including buyer personas, segmentation, and differentiated messaging and content
* Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, content, paid, and event-based channels, with clear performance tracking and ROI focus
* Act as a go-to marketing partner to sales, product management, market development, and commercial teams – ensuring alignment, shared priorities, and measurable business impact.
What Makes You a Great Fit
At Outokumpu, we believe in the power of a diverse and qualified team. To excel in the role of Marketing Manager, we expect you to bring the following to the table:
* Relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree and 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing or marketing communications
* A curious, analytical and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging and impactful marketing
* Strong track record in data-driven, multi-channel marketing and demand generation
* Fluent English and at least one major European language (German, Italian, Spanish, or French)
* Proven track record of converting business goals and insights into effective, measurable marketing initiatives
* Content and creative capability: Hands-on approach to content marketing, creatives, and Gen AI–supported workflows (no art director required)
* Collaboration and delivery: Structured project management and confidence to work closely with sales, product, commercial stakeholders and external agency partner
Location: Krefeld, Germany – focus on Advanced Materials and global scope (flexible hybrid-working possible)
