As an Associate in the EMEA Payments Business Management Team, you will drive strategy, manage controls, and support financial performance for EEA & Switzerland branches. Your will be a key point of contact for front office and support functions, contributing to business analysis, reporting, and risk management, ensuring compliance and fostering strong relationships across Finance & Business Management teams.
Job responsibilities
1. Be a point of contact to the Payments front office and support functions to help achieve business objectives and opportunities
2. Assist in communication of the business strategy, performance and priorities
3. Proactively and on request provide strategic analyses and reporting to facilitate business progression
4. Manage business risk by ensuring an effective control environment
5. Ensure the business' compliance with Line of Business and firm-wide objectives and policies
6. Build effective relationships and work closely with F&BM colleagues (Planning & Analysis, Controllers, Industry/Product business managers, Office Management)
7. Ensure monthly performance reporting and forecasting process, including revenue, balances, volumes, spreads and expense trends are completed
8. Support the annual planning process and monthly performance tracking against plan; prepare of periodic and ad hoc business performance presentations / reviews
9. Review deal pipeline and work closely with Sales to provide monitoring against targets
10. Assess impact of changes in regulations / market events
11. Contribute to the EMEA & Global F&BM agenda (priorities, projects, events)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
12. Education to degree standard (or equivalent)
13. Understanding of Payments products, systems and processes
14. Fluent German and English language skills
15. Strong organisational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritise requests and multi-task in the face of ever-changing and sometimes conflicting demands
16. Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure
17. Strong analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail
18. Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills; ability to work well individually and partner effectively within a team
19. Pro-active and problem solving mindset with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
