As the Director of Sales, your responsibilities will include:
* Working closely with the General Manager and Regional Manager to maximize revenue and occupancy.
* Creating and implementing marketing strategies to meet sales goals and targets.
* Managing hotel room sales, banquet, and meeting room revenue, meeting budget and forecast targets.
* Seeking new business through various marketing and sales methods.
* Participating in meetings with clients, providing site tours, and building rapport.
* Negotiating corporate rates based on volume and availability.
* Overseeing group rate quotes, contracts, and reservations in Cloudbeds.
* Preparing reports on sales operations, forecasts, and market trends.
* Researching industry trends to develop new marketing strategies.
* Delivering persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
* Developing strategies for rates, group sales, and catering based on market analysis.
* Representing the hotel in community and industry events.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Sales experience in a similar hotel environment.
* Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
* A positive, team-oriented, guest-focused leadership attitude.
* Knowledge of the travel industry and current market trends.
