Assistant Manager - In-house Legal
The Assistant Manager - Legal acts as the primary legal point of contact for the Company and ancillary entities, providing high-quality legal expertise in corporate and contractual matters, and ensuring compliance with Luxembourg corporate and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong autonomy and involves drafting and reviewing contracts, and maintaining close communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Your role:
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and service contracts.
* Act as a point of contact for clients, participating in calls and providing clear explanations on our requirements and demonstrating a pragmatic approach in discussions with clients.
* Provide legal support on corporate matters, including company incorporations, board and shareholder resolutions, and annual filings.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
* Coordinate with external advisors, notaries, and regulators when needed.
* Contribute to the improvement of internal templates, processes, and legal databases.
* Manage the insurance policies related to activities of AIS and its affiliates (ensure the renewal and adaptation of the policies to match our risks, activities and launch of new services).
* Act as backup to the Senior Corporate Governance Officer on key governance matters, including the organisation and running of Management Committee meetings.
Your profile:
* Master's degree in law (corporate, business, or commercial law preferred).
* You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Luxembourg in a similar position, within a PFS, financial institution or law firm.
* Fluent in English and French (any additional language such as German is an asset).
* You can work under limited supervision.
* Demonstrated autonomy and sound legal judgment.
* You are well organised, have very good communication skills and you are a good team player.
* Strong knowledge of Luxembourg company and financial sector laws and regulations.
* Good knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact confidently with clients
* Proactive, pragmatic, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
* Rigorous, organized, and detail oriented.
