Job Description
We are looking for a qualified
Field Engineer – Region South Germany (m/f/d) to provide our customers with first-class service as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Market observation as well as collection and analysis of product performance (including competitive comparison through field data collection)
* Implementation of sales-supporting measures across all product areas (focus on truck, passenger car, agricultural, tire sensors) and support for our customers and the sales team in all technical matters
* Technical problem-solving and handling of complaints on-site and centrally
* Conducting technical training sessions, both internal and external
* Co-responsible for organizing, executing, and analyzing tire tests in collaboration with the European technical team
* Documentation and reporting
* Participation in projects and trade fairs, both nationally and internationally
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education, Master’s degree, other certifications:
* Completed technical training in the automotive sector, e.g., certified automotive master technician or a comparable qualification
* Solid MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Basic SAP knowledge is an advantage
Professional Experience:
* Experience in the automotive sector, ideally in the tire industry; customer service experience is a plus
Technical/Functional Skills:
* Confident use of laptops, tablets, etc.
Language Skills:
* Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
Soft Skills / Behavioral Competencies:
* Quick comprehension
* Solution-oriented approach
* Good self-organization
* Flexibility and willingness to travel, as well as occasional weekend assignments (mainly Saturdays)
