Director - Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency
Job Overview:
As a senior manager of fund accounting operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, leadership, and customer satisfaction of your team. Your key objectives include setting performance criteria, leading staff reviews, ensuring quality service delivery, and implementing metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set performance goals for the operational unit and lead the performance review process;
* Ensure quality of service delivery to clients, implementation and follow-up of dashboards and success measurement metrics (KPIs);
* Identify training needs for team members, contribute to the Company's Training Committee;
* Actively manage client relationships, with client satisfaction as the core target;
* Foster an environment of employee participation, teamwork, and effective communication within the team;
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless interactions and productive collaboration;
* Formulate a Product Roadmap for FATA according to the growth targets for the department;
* Engage with designated clients and lead client-facing projects;
* Ensure delivery of the FATA product roadmap;
* Facilitate risk and issue management with stakeholders;
* Strive for continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency;
* Support in producing KPIs for product roadmap initiatives;
* Supervise creation and maintenance of delivery procedures;
* Align user management access with security policies;
* Optimize the existing customer onboarding process;
* Implement solutions for enhanced efficiency;
* Align onboarding goals with customer objectives;
* Build positive customer relationships;
* Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams;
* Ensure understanding of stakeholder needs;
Requirements:
* University degree in accounting, finance or equivalent;
* Minimum 10 years of experience in service delivery within a central administration function for Alternative Investment Funds and a proven track record of exposure to investment funds with different NAV frequencies;
* Fluent in English;
* Experience in fund accounting within AIF, various regulated and non-regulated vehicles;
* Experience with transformation/change management, global process and control framework implementation and system migrations;
* Proven track record of building and leading high performing teams;
* Initiative taking and excellent organization skills;
* Strong client-focus with the ability to develop and maintain important client relationships;
* Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
