Our client is an internationally operating company in the healthcare sector. They are now looking for a
Group Senior Legal Counsel Data Privacy, IT and Legal Operations (f/m/d)
to join the team in the Headquarters in Munich. You will be reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance officer and will provide actionable strategic and operational advice to the Group and senior management in different departments, especially Procurement and IT, ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and support the negotiations of large groupwide IT contracts, considering the decentralized structure of the Group. The role will therefore negotiate, draft and review a variety of agreements, in particular relating to IT and provide sound advice on all legal matters to relevant stakeholders.
You will also oversee further critical areas such as AI law, and cybersecurity law and will be partnering closely with other group functions as a senior business partner to navigate the legal complexities in these domains.
The role further supports the Group General Counsel in projects with groupwide importance by setting up the legal operations backbone to increase global governance and facilitate the reporting by the regions.
You will be qualified in a European jurisdiction and have at least five years of experience, ideally in an international in-house position. You will have elevant experience in IT, contract and data protection law. You will have excellent communication skills, communicating with various different stakeholders. You will be fluent in English, fluency in German a plus. You will have very good business acumen and are willing to grow within the legal department.
