Join to apply for the Business Consultant role at Centric Software Job Description A successful business consultant has first and foremost a broad knowledge of the many facets of business and market forces. The ideal candidate will also possess great problem-solving skills to provide C8 solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency. The Business Consultant will be responsible for delivering Centric 8 Agile deployment projects on time, per schedule, per responsible technical and business goals of the company (e.g. out-of-the-box OOTB configurations, customer business process mapping, and best practice advocacy). You will provide business consulting and be part of implementation teams in designing and delivering Centric 8 Solutions focused on Retail, Apparel & Footwear Industry, FMCG and High-Fashion market. Manage deployment projects per Centric's agile deployment methodology, delivering customer solution model per out-of-the-box Centric 8 (PLM) use cases and configuration points and Centric's Agile processes. Conduct customer business process analysis, information modelling, mapping to Centric 8 configurations and interface control definitions with related systems to be integrated, data and process conversion from legacy PDM systems, provide customer guidance on process-system alignment practices, process-system validation and training and on-going customer care. The goal is to contribute to the clients' long lasting success so that our reputation can expand along with our clientele. Responsibilities Ensure a utilization target of 80% is met by Meeting with assigned clients and performing an initial assessment of a problematic situation Collecting information about the client's business process, IT landscape and data usage through a variety of methods (business process analyses, interviews, surveys, reports, RFI etc.) Analyzing and interpreting process and data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and understand the causes Formulating & documenting recommendations and configuring C8 with attention to a client's wishes, C8 capabilities and budget limitations forming concise documentation with the objective to make a successful project and have referenceable customers Presenting solution findings and suggestions to clients with justification, recommendation and practical advice Training customers on C8 solution according to the Centric training offerings throughout the different phases of the project Organizing and executing assigned C8 software implementation projects on behalf of Centric according to client's requirements and/or scope mentioned in the statement of work (SOW) Developing detailed implementation- and communication plans, including timelines, budget, resource- and progress tracking details to drive small or big C8 change initiatives Assisting the client in implementing the plan and resolving any occasional discrepancies – change management/project management Providing guidance based on experience and Centric best practices for any occurring problems, issues and planning dependencies – conflict management/project management Maintaining quality standards regarding methodologies, documentation, progress tracking, project administration by using internal Centric systems Coaching others and sharing experiences and knowledge Skills Fluent in German & English Execution of Centric implementation methodologies Process analysis methodology Requirements gathering & sharing Workshop Management Familiar with Agile way of working Translate process information and customer requirements into C8 functionality Communication skills (internal / external) Feedback loop to project team Conflict Management Escalation Management Create, present and recommend C8 solution options Training skills internal/external Presentation Skills & Storytelling Time Management & Time Tracking Budget Management Ability to work in a team Support Change Management Qualification Bachelor in Fashion Textile / Business Management or similar (Fashion Product Development, Fashion Designer) No requirement to come from a software company per se Business process mapping – BPM or other methodologies Basic Project Management – Prince 2 foundation or equal MS Office PLM Knowledge Atlassian (Confluence & Jira) Travel Requirements Assume 3 days per week on site at different customer locations throughout Europe Centric Software provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status or genetic information.
