To strengthen our agile Life Science R&D department, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electrical Design Engineer who will be responsible for developing electrical circuits for mass spectrometers. In this role, you will oversee the entire process from idea conception to design and the creation of necessary production documentation, ensuring a successful transition to series production. You will join a team of experts in an innovative R&D environment, constantly translating new ideas into robust designs. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing electrical components for the next generation of life science mass spectrometers and their accessories, contributing to a healthier, cleaner, and safer world.
Design and development of complex electronics (including high frequency and high voltage circuits) in a highly motivated, multinational and interdisciplinary team in Bremen
Participation in product development teams and project planning
On-the-bench and in-system design verification
Technical support of suppliers and their qualification
Your tasks and responsibilities will be diverse and exciting, with the opportunity to participate in product development projects across multiple sites worldwide.
University degree in electrical engineering, or related fields
Several years of professional experience of designing analog electronics, preferably including high voltage and/or high frequency electronics
Experience in low volume, high-value large complex systems such as scientific instrumentation, medical devices, or semiconductor process systems is highly preferred
Good written and oral communication skills in German and English language
