What are your contributions to the team?
6. Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program
7. Perform supervisory responsibilities such as performance & development management, time keeping, hiring, dismissals and lead/coordinate daily meetings
8. Coordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc maintenance
9. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station/Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
10. Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiency
11. Engage with customers regarding Aircraft Maintenance (where required)
12. Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives
13. Manage Database/Reporting to ensure labour efficiency is in line with work order
How to thrive in this role?
14. Have (typically) 3 years of experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection procedures
15. Have leadership experience; Aircraft Maintenance preferred
16. Possess an A&P certificate or certificated under FAR (part 65)
17. Be familiar with aircraft inspection system & procedures
18. Be familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations
19. Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
20. Demonstrate effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people
21. Have strong organizational and planning skills
22. Possess proficient computer skills
