As a member of the EMEA Accounting Team, you’ll be supporting the team to produce accurate financial results and ensure strong internal controls are maintained throughout the organization. You will be involved in reviewing, digitizing and enhancing internal financial processes to help the team meet its objectives.
Your tasks:
1. Collaborate with the team to support the monthly financial accounting close process
2. Support centralized liquidity forecasting for the EMEA subsidiaries
3. Go-to person for data collection needs for reporting of statutory requirements (VAT declarations and statistical reports)
4. Help with the cash reconciliation process for our E-commerce legal entities
5. Assist the pension administrator with routine monthly tasks
6. Make an impact by supporting various digitization projects to empower the team for the future of work
7. Create and own process improvement projects aimed at improving task and process automation
8. Help research and translate local GAAP accounting rules for implementation in day to day operations
Your qualifications:
9. Ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
10. Advanced English language skills, other languages are an added advantage
11. Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Power BI, VBA)
12. Proficiency in SAP, SQL & Python are a plus
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
14. Ability to work both independently and in a team
15. Very good communication and relationship skills
16. Strong financial and intercultural understanding
