As (Senior) Manager Project Management Office EMEA (f/m/d), you will become the heart of our Business Excellence team. This dynamic and experienced department serves as a trusted and transparent partner for the EMEA region, providing tailor-made solutions for the successful execution of projects, initiatives, and selected business requirements. You will be an essential enabler of our global transformation, leading prioritized key projects and ensuring successful implementation with project teams.
Your scope:
* You will lead the seamless implementation of strategic and operational projects in close coordination with business departments across the entire lifecycle.
* You will support project teams with your expertise and operational insights for early risk detection.
* You will contribute significantly to the further development of our project management methodologies and drive the implementation of our regional strategy within the framework of corporate transformation.
* Promoting open and honest communication with all internal and external stakeholders, including board members and global senior management, as well as moderating working groups, will be among your key responsibilities.
* You will be responsible for the utilization and continuous improvement of our PMO methodology, as well as the definition, structuring, and reporting of relevant projects and their KPIs.
* You will oversee and manage the connection between our process management (including role concepts, process landscape, etc.) and the associated transformation projects.
What you should bring to the table:
* Your Foundation: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a comparable field of study.
* Your Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Project Manager or Consultant, regardless of whether you come from a classical or agile background.
* Your Leadership Spirit: Initial experience in leading and mentoring a small team would be a significant plus – show us that you can inspire, empower, and develop people.
* Your Expertise: You possess in-depth technical and methodological knowledge in project management. This is your craft, which you master skillfully.
* Your Qualification: A project management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMI, or Prince2) would be ideal.
* Your Language Proficiency: In our environment, business-fluent English (at least C1 level) is a must. You communicate effortlessly and persuasively at all levels – with the board, customers, and suppliers.
* Your Tools: You are proficient with Google Suite & MS Office. Knowledge of project management systems would be desirable and would facilitate your start.
* Your Personality: You are collaborative, empathetic, and possess a pronounced diplomatic mindset. You succeed in bringing everyone on board and achieving goals together. You also bring the necessary pragmatism to solve complicated situations efficiently and effectively, while not losing sight of the big picture.
