Offshore based operations initially on our Service Operation Vessel (SOV) for the Offshore Wind Farm Deutsche Bucht consisting of x V wind turbines with 8,4 MW each.
You will work in a key role of our Service team. Temporarily travel to other Offshore wind farms within Vestas for training, education and sharing experience is a vital part of the offered position.
As an Offshore Service Technician, you will work in a team of 3 or more technicians and ensure a smooth operation and reliable operation of our wind turbines.
Your main tasks:
1. Friction-less operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring/Remote Control
2. Maintenance & Repair on electrical and mechanical systems• Trouble shooting of electrical and mechanical systems and fault diagnosis
3. Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
4. Compliance to HSE standards
5. Creating follow-up orders and registration of time and material consumption in SAP
Your qualifications:
6. Completed training as an electrician, electrician or mechatronics engineer (EFK appointment possible)
7. Preferably you have worked in the wind and/or offshore industry.• Experience with medium or high voltage systems is an advantage
8. Good English and German skills both spoken and written
9. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
