Enterprise Architect
Job Overview
Evotec is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Enterprise Architect to help shape and drive the evolution of our technology landscape. In this strategic role you will work closely with Business- and IT- leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring our IT architecture supports agility, scalability and innovation. You will play a critical role in defining architectural standards, evaluating emerging technologies and guiding the successful implementation of enterprise solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities
* Support the design and implementation of Evotec’s enterprise architecture roadmap and long-term IT strategy
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions
* Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance enterprise-wide IT capabilities and align with strategic goals
* Provide guidance and support to IT teams during the analysis and design phases of new projects
* Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks, industry standards, and best practices
* Conduct regular assessments of the IT environment to identify areas for optimization, risk mitigation, and innovation
* Supervise the use and the development of Evotec's existing Enterprise Architecture platform (MEGA Hopex), ensuring data accuracy and alignment with relevant architecture models
Qualifications
* A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to give convincing presentations to a larger group at all hierarchical levels
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) is considered an asset
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS), integration strategies, and cybersecurity principles is a plus
* Fluency in German, French and/or Italian is a plus
