We are currently looking for a Manager of Operations (x|f|m) for the APAC & EMEA regions in Göttingen (Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH) in the Freight & Distribution division. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the operational management of our logistics activities for the Warehouse and Transport sector.

Your
Responsibilities
* You will develop and implement global logistics and transport strategies to improve processes and secure our ability to deliver
* You will lead the teams of the local Freight & Distribution division in terms of discipline and expertise
* It is your responsibility to ensure process improvements (with the help of our ERP system)
* You will develop relevant KPIs to monitor the performance of supply chains
* You will be responsible for demand planning in collaboration with global stakeholders
* You manage the review and improvement of supply chain processes (quality, cost, lead times and compliance)
* You will be involved in global projects between Sartorius locations around the world
* You will ensure compliance with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
* You will be the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, advising them on global logistics processes and concepts
What
will
convince
us
* Degree in business administration or comparable
* Several years of experience in various areas of logistics, supply chain – procurement, planning, management of warehouses, with a strong focus on management
* Software skills such as SAP MM, PP and WM are desirable
* Proven project management skills Proven software skills e.g. MS Office and inventory management software
* We expect you to be fluent in German and English as well as to be willing to travel occasionally
