The following challenges await you:
1. As part of your project assignment, you will actively support the development of analytical methods using instruments such as TPR-O, TPD, BET, etc.
2. This includes, among other things, the preparation of various types of heterogeneous catalysts and their analytical evaluation via temperature-programmed reduction/oxidation.
3. Developing an analytical method to evaluate the oxygen storage capacity of the synthesized catalysts will also be part of your responsibilities.
4. Last but not least, you will be responsible for evaluating the analytical data and making the necessary adjustments to the manufacturing process.
5. Immerse yourself in practical work and expand your theoretical understanding through hands-on application.
Your Profile:
6. Degree in chemistry or a related field (reaction engineering, industrial chemistry) with a valid proof of enrollment covering the entire duration of the assignment
7. Knowledge of the fundamentals of inorganic and industrial chemistry, as well as basic knowledge in the field of heterogeneous catalysts
8. Basic knowledge of combustion gases, calibration, and method validation is also an advantage
9. Good written and spoken German and English skills
10. Technical aptitude and an interest in solving complex problems and developing new methods
11. A team player and independent thinker with a high degree of reliability
