As a Zugverkehrssteuerer, you will work in the signal box, navigating train traffic to ensure safe, punctual, and smooth operations.
We are looking for you as a career changer for retraining as a Zugverkehrssteuerer (w/m/d) at the earliest possible date at DB InfraGO AG in Fischen (Allgäu), Immenstadt (Allgäu), Kellmünz (Iller), Kempten (Allgäu), Lindau (Bodensee), Memmingen, or Oberstdorf.
The retraining includes:
* The full-time training (39 hours/week) consists of theoretical and practical parts.
* Theoretical classes are held at our regional training centers, and practical training is conducted as locally as possible.
* Training groups consist of about 12 participants.
After your retraining, you will:
* Operate train signals in small, medium, or large signal boxes using levers, buttons, and switches.
* Set routes (tracks, switches, signals) to ensure safe departures, e.g., from a station.
* Monitor operations at stations.
* Communicate and coordinate with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers.
* Upon successful completion and proof of suitability, you will receive a gross annual salary starting from €44,326 plus shift allowances.
Your profile:
* You have completed vocational training, e.g., as a retail clerk, restaurant specialist, bakery salesperson, or office clerk.
* You have basic PC skills.
* You remain calm and maintain overview even in demanding situations.
* You are team-oriented and willing to take responsibility.
* You are willing to work in shifts (night, weekend, holiday work) and flexible, without compromising your work-life balance.
