Your responsibilities
Lead and manage the engineering team (electrical, civil, structural, and grid engineers).
Oversee the preparation of execution, and as-built designs.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and international standards.
Support tendering, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Provide technical leadership during project development, EPC execution, and commissioning phases.
Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Establish and implement engineering guidelines, design review processes, and quality control measures.
Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement within the team.
Your profile
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering field.
5+ years of experience in solar PV design, engineering, or project delivery.
Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar PV technology, inverters and BOS components.
Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVcase, or similar design software.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent in English (German or other languages are a plus).
Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, VDE).
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) integration is preferred.
