Responsibilities:
1. Implement customer strategy aligned with sales
2. Realize acquisition of target projects and lead development and industrialization
3. Lead the APQP process with milestone quality (frontloading), execute regular project reviews and report on project status
4. Carry out technical presentations at customers, Build up and develop relationship to all relevant technical functions of customers
5. Ensure effective communication of the project team to the organization and the customers
6. Plan/control/adhere to budgets for all customer projects
7. Responsible to generate and realize VA/VE ideas inline with AT targets
8. Monitor and assure profitability of respective projects over lifetime (milestone costing)
9. Initiate and run change management (ECR)
10. Support review of contracts (SOW, ES/TS, DVP) and involve relevant departments
11. Solve & communicate development related customer concerns (time, quality, cost) and support problem-solving of serial production quality issues
12. Contribute to execution of strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
13. You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
14. You have experience in project management and application engineering, ideally in the automotive industry
15. As an assertive team player you can use your competencies to achieve collective goals and you are willing to develop further
16. Based on your analytical thinking and your strong communication skills you translate customer needs into best product solutions
17. Fluent English skills to collaborate with your international team colleagues complete your profile
