In this role, you will act as the central hub to raise the efficiency of the procurement software to a new level and, as an internal expert, build the bridge between IT logic and operational materials management.

Your tasks
5. System administration & evolution: You will assume primary responsibility for the maintenance, configuration and future-oriented design of the software landscape in Purchasing.
6. Communication hub: As a mediator, you coordinate the requirements of the specialist department with internal IT and external software partners.
7. Solution architecture: You identify the need for optimization, design technical adaptations and support their implementation.
8. System hygiene: You keep operations stable through targeted identification of anomalies, comprehensive test series and proactive troubleshooting.
9. Knowledge transfer: You empower the workforce through tailored coaching sessions and are available as a competent advisor in day-to-day work.
10. Data integrity: You analyze the existing information and carry out correction runs to massively increase the reliability of the system data.

Your profile
12. Foundation: A degree with an economic or technical focus (e.g. industrial engineering) or an equivalent qualification with sound practical experience.
13. Experience: You can look back on several years of experience in materials management or technical purchasing.
14. IT passion: You are an absolute SAP power user (ideally with a focus on the material control modules) and are enthusiastic about penetrating complex system contexts.
15. Mindset: A strong understanding of processes paired with an analytical streak and the will to drive things forward pragmatically ("hands-on").
16. Character: You communicate clearly, work in a highly structured manner and enjoy supporting others with technical challenges.
