We are looking for a Manager of Commercial Data Analytics (x|f|m) for the Commercial Excellence Intelligence & Analytics team based in Göttingen (Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH) who will lead, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts responsible for delivering data-driven insights to support our global commercial organization. You will bring a balance of deep technical skills in advanced analytics, leadership expertise, and a passion for continuous learning. As a hands-on leader, you will guide your team to develop robust analytics solutions leveraging SQL, Python, PySpark, Snowflake, SAP, SFDC, and Tableau, as well as drive predictive analytics. You will also play a key role in managing complex stakeholder relationships, driving alignment on strategic priorities, and ensuring the delivery of impactful outcomes. Your tasks Oversee end-to-end commercial reporting, including design & development of global reporting suite delivering key operational and commercial metrics Lead a team of analysts, providing clear direction, mentorship, and training, keeping the team ahead of industry trends and technological advancements Drive the transition to cloud-based analytics platforms, primarily leveraging Snowflake, Tableau, SAP HANA and other relevant systems, improving automation and UX Champion digital transformation initiatives within the sales organization to drive productivity, reduce manual efforts, and cultivate a future-ready, data-driven culture that promotes agility and informed decision-making Establish strong relationships and become a trusted partner to sales leadership, communicating findings, insights, and results clearly, concisely, and effectively to senior management Collaborate closely with commercial leaders, finance, IT, and operations teams to understand and streamline reporting requirements Champion continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reporting infrastructure and analytics practices are state-of-the-art and aligned with business objectives Establish and maintain robust data governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports. Identify issues and collaborate cross-functionally in addressing root-causes Your qualifications You have a degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or a related field Several years of experience in commercial reporting, analytics, or business intelligence, with some years in a management or leadership role Advanced proficiency with Snowflake, SQL, Python, SAP BW, SAP HANA and experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions Strong knowledge of business intelligence and visualization tools (Tableau and Streamlit preferred).
