(We are currently seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow (PhD Candidate) in the field of Finance to join the team of Prof. In addition to research, the fellow will also take on teaching responsibilities.
Our team publishes research in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies. We are part of the Center for Digital Transformation, a hub connecting leading marketing, finance, and operations scholars with over 20 doctoral like-minded scholars and five professors. We are located at the TUM School of Management at the TUM Campus in Heilbronn, a vital part of the Technical University of Munich, ranked among the top universities in Europe. Being one of the best faculties in Economics in Germany, the TUM School of Management is building a unique bridge between Management and Technology within an international teaching and learning environment.
Conduct research under the supervision of Prof. Asset Pricing, Asset Management, Behavioral Finance, Digital Finance, and Sustainable Finance
Contribute to the teaching activities at the Center for Digital Transformation at TUM Campus Heilbronn
Actively participate in the Doctoral Program of the TUM School of Management
Support and collaborate on third-party funded research projects
Strong enthusiasm for conducting high-quality, innovative empirical research in Finance
Strong statistical training and quantitative research methods
Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, Stata, or Matlab is highly desirable
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a research team
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
A stimulating, dynamic and multi-disciplinary research environment with access to excellent resources
