The site runs continuously and demands high levels of equipment reliability and operational efficiency. We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Workshop Manager to lead all electrical maintenance and workshop activities across the site. This role is critical in ensuring electrical systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, supporting safe and efficient production. The successful candidate will be a technically skilled and hands-on leader, capable of managing a diverse team, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance activities across all operational areas of the site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards for electrical systems and installations. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment. Manage workshop operations, including inventory, tooling, and repair processes. Oversee the maintenance of motors, switchgear, control panels, instrumentation, and automation systems. Monitor and optimize energy usage and electrical system performance. Manage electrical maintenance budgets and contribute to capital planning. Supervise and develop the electrical maintenance team, ensuring appropriate training and skill development. Collaborate with engineering, production, and HSE teams to support operational goals. Coordinate external contractors and ensure quality and safety standards are upheld. Support plant modifications and provide electrical input for change management processes. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical failures and incidents. Candidate Profile Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. 8-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance within industrial environments such as food processing, chemicals, or heavy manufacturing. Proven leadership experience in managing electrical teams and workshop operations. Strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, and energy management. Fluent in German (C1 level) and proficient in English (B1 or higher). Skilled in maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement methodologies. A proactive, structured leader with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams with a focus on safety, reliability, and accountability.
